Here’s the video I did about Boss Lee in April. It was inevitable that she was going to die after refusing chemo as a “scam” but it’s still sad. I hope her fans now realize ozone treatment, herbs, and essential oils don’t work. http://youtu.be/3DUTipa4fms

@rebeccawatson My only pause here is that with stage 4 colon cancer, she was likely going to die pretty soon no matter what. I believe on saw on Reddit that aggressive treatment would have extended her life about 9 months on average. People refuse treatment in that situation all the time.

But I assume that is not how she communicated her decision to her followers. So I wonder if that makes it better or worse that no matter what she did, beating the disease wasn’t a realistic option for her.

@johninfante @rebeccawatson There’s a pretty stark difference between urgently giving your remaining money to ozone and stem cell scammers vs. dying with tragic dignity.

@rebeccawatson oof. And the "dead by Christmas" comment. (Unless that was referring to last year.)

I hope they learn, too.

I have 3-year-old girls. I see influencers like Boss Lee and realize I can’t just teach them to be open minded.

They need to be skeptical so they aren’t so “open minded” that their brains slide out.

Boss Lee was a precision guided munition against impressionable people that want to thrive more than they want to exist in reality.

Just one more challenge for raising kids in the age of commoditized mass media.
