Cory McCarty@caseyliss Also on three devices, and it took 20 minutes with errors everywhere (including silently failing at the final Place Your Order button on the web store...how very Apple) to finally place a successful (I think) order. You'd think Apple would have figured this out after all the years of doing it.

Brandon Bohling@caseyliss apparently west coast servers are having issues. Couldn’t get an order through until I used VPN and an east coast server. Odd.
@bbohling I assure you the east coast was doing no better. I won the lottery this year. Almost everyone I know was struggling.
@caseyliss interesting. Though the store wasn’t even “open” until I used VPN. Fortunately we both got what we wanted and day 1 delivery. Life is so hard. ;)

Fahfoofnik@caseyliss Just a few minutes ago (around :25 after), Mac web/iPad app finally loaded on home wi-fi; I got through around :04 after on Visible (Verizon). Feels like Verizon wins the CDN battle this year, friends on other carriers/ISPs having problems.

Graeme K@caseyliss I’m no longer sure if it’s a CDN lottery or a load balancer lottery. I left all three of my devices on my home network connection, because cellular is garbage at my house, and my *Windows PC* still clicked to available 6-7 minutes before my MacBook or my iPhone.
