In some circles, any support for the Voice is pounced upon. It gets quite vicious and intimidatory. To the point that 'Yes' proponents withdraw. Which is the aim.

It's an extreme right-wing Conservative reaction. I feel that it reflects the rise of right-wing extremism in general.

@DropBear @msdropbear42 @ApaulD it is the elephant in the room..any progressive campaign will be a target of abuse and violence these days.. we have seen the world deteriorate in the last 10 years and especially so since the pandemic began. We all know about political interference from other countries to destabilize our democracies..and yet some of our leaders - who clearly do live in a bubble - can't foresee the need to stabilise the ground first before introducing change..and need to ensure the safety of campaigners..
