The Incredible Machine (1993)
@256 So many memories of being huddled around a school computer with friends playing this game :)
@256 @hannah “Pictures at an Exhibition” playing in anyone else’s head right now?

90s graphics. A 2D playarea of sprites strewn about of every kind. Cat on a brick platform. Walls in strategic positions, a slanted floor holding a ball implied to will be rolling down, and walls forming a funnel for the ball to go down. This funnel has holes for the two literal revolvers to shoot through, one pointed at the cat, the other pointing at a dynamite next to a fish, bowl underneath the first revolver. A series of unused pulleys across the revolver area. And two currently in use pulley systems, one tied to the triggers of the revolvers on each end, with a fulcrum between them for the ball to land on and cause a firing, and one with a steel bucket on each end, a resting platform available for both but probably meant to hang halfway to block the revolver shots.
User toolbox on right of playarea, of one ball and one scissors.

Best Computer Game ever
@256 it really was incredible wasn’t it?
@256 Ha, I had to go run it to see... I had a vague recollection that maybe pulleys blocked revolver shots, but they don't.
@256 wow not seen that for a while! What a fab game it was!
@256 Oh man, haven't seen that game in YEARS. Used to love it!

@256 oh my god you can’t just post this on a Monday
@256 This looks awfully dangerous for that cat.
@256 I remember the game "Crazy Machines" from my childhood. Looks awfully similar, I guess this is a predecessor of that then.
@256 Oh the time spent on this one… 🫶😊
