Chrome is hot garbage.

A long time ago it was a snappy rebel browser that took the Internet by storm.

Today it's worse than IE ever was, tracking your browsing habits and sharing them with advertisers even if you take efforts to protect your privacy. It's all opt-out too.

@geerlingguy Firefox/Mozilla aren't rebels anymore too, we need a new rebellion

That leads me to a question about Firefox. I’ve been thinking about making the switch, but I’m concerned about the fact that they recently partnered with Meta/FB on a project, which is concerning. I’ve searched around but have yet to find a good, justifiable explanation for this. Any thoughts on this?

Oh, thanks for the hint, didn't know of a collab. between Meta and Mozilla.
On the other hand, isn't that still better (or less bad) than using Chrome?

But I would agree in general, we need a new browser(engine) be it a rebel or just a new browser.
