Oh there's a whole bunch of movies I'm glad they never made a sequel to because they were perfect gems they way they were.

I agree the second and third films weren't as good as the original. But despite a few cringe moments, I really enjoyed the original trilogy as a complete story. They're kind of like Back to the Future in that respect.
That recent Matrix sequel though, #FacePalm.

The only way I can make the recent Matrix knock-off OK is to pretend it's a parody. Like a Scary Movie or Spaceballs of late 90s cyberpunk/ virtual reality films (there were a *lot*).
