Now that I'm back in work having (mostly) recovered from long Covid, I want to ease my way back in to the high-octane, heavy-impact training I was doing pre-pandemic. Thing is, for mainly environmental reasons, I also want to transition to a vegan, or at least close to vegan diet. And that means increased protein requirements! The last time I cut meat from my diet, even subsisting on grains, pulses, lentils, split peas, beans, etc. - following all the standard advice - I still found myself achy all the time. And as soon as I started on food supplements such as protein drinks, the aches and pains disappeared.

Any hyperactive vegans on here who are prepared to tell me what some of their staple dishes are? I mean the ones you eat every week, without which you wouldn't be so fit and healthy. Thanks!
