Even this bugs me a bit. Real analysis of past wars give a variety of motivations to all. People of the West fight but so do those of the East, South and North. Women fight too. They fight for land, food, wealth, security, and ideology. No doubt some fight for beauty and youth but it s also often those tossed to the cannons.
