Has my opinion on him as CEO of what used to be Twitter changed after 11 months (repeat, 11 months)? No.
Is he still a shining example of how not to be a CEO in general, much less of a social media network? Yes, but his example is so much worse now than it was even three days into his reign.
Yet, he doesn't care about the criticism.

If I remember right, the section 230 protections are predicated on a good faith content moderation policy.
Elon seems to be trying to blow up that presumption of good faith.

Submarine@bullivant this will end up in the ADL's favor, count on it. Any frank discussion of its own excesses will be swept under the rug and it's legitimacy as a "civil rights group" will be verified. I posit that the ADL does far more harm than good; that keeping an eye on hate groups is better left to a more objective, scientific stance such as currently offered by the SPLC
