Slowdive - Everything is Alive

It's been six years since Slowdive's great comeback album, and a lot has happened since, including the deaths of two parents of band members...and it's put them in a contemplative mood.

This uses more sequencers and keyboards than the last record, and is almost Pygmalion-like. But the rest of the band has enhanced those grooves with their own touches, which deepens the soundscape.

The result is pretty terrific.
