“ ‘I think being in a room full of people that are giving you their attention and paying attention to your art and your music is such a gift,’ he shares. ‘I had some of the most beautiful experiences of my life on a stage. I’m really looking forward to that. I’m a little nervous because the past couple of times I’ve played this music for people, I can’t get through a set without weeping, which can be kind of embarrassing. But it’s also really beautiful because the audience reactions every single time are so encouraging and so warm, and it’s a really special thing to happen – To have a human experience with other humans, it’s like peak human existence is these kinds of experiences where everybody is sitting there having a beautiful experience, and the beautiful experience is connecting them more to other people, connecting them more to themselves.’ ”
