They changed the setup so that you are required to follow at least one account when you're signing up and Elon is always the first suggested account so every bot on the platform is following him

it's weird how all his plans to "improve" twitter revolve around taking away basic QoL features that were massively important to the platform's perception as the social media platform of choice, verified users was removed, tweet length limits removed, banning of nazis who share child porn removed, block button for stalkers and harassers to be removed, link embeds to be removed
