@matt I'm both grateful and frustrated at how slow CC is to implement changes to Things. I respect the desire to not break the well designed system they currently have, but the lack of some features (the early completion of repeating tasks you mentioned being a big one) is a sore spot. At this point, I imagine a lot of common requests won't be rolled out until Things 4, which wouldn’t surprise me if it goes subscription too.

@libraryvines Yup, they are very much a “only make changes if we know they will make the app better” company, so there’s not a lot of bloat, but it can be frustrating when they don’t have something you want.

And yeah, it’s crazy I bought this app in like 2016 and haven’t paid a penny since.

@matt it's a great point about payment. I also haven't paid for the app since around that time, so in reality it's perhaps fair to caveat feature requests. I rely on Things to the extent I wouldn't mind a subscription pricing.
