cobalt going beige today

Maybe a first in Phoenix but 2 different weather apps a bit ago warned “Severe thunderstorm in 22 minutes. 100% chance of rain.

It does look pretty intense outside with a LOT of lightning and thunder. This may actually pan out! I’m too indisposed right now to do my planned rain dance. But if anyone else is so-inclined, I’d appreciate it.

@cobalt @grumpywitch @Manny Good luck! But be careful what you wish for. Thunderstorms these days are different. They play a lot rougher than they used to and it's going to get worse.

@shuttersparks @grumpywitch @Manny So far a heavy steel patio chair blew over, a 2’x 14” vinyl stool is in the pool and not a drop of rain. Hmmmm.

@cobalt @grumpywitch We had a pretty good blow and rain. Flooded one area roads and took out power lines West of Eloy.
