I'm going to make a development thread for this scenario so buckle up
(note: it's far from complete and things may change, still WIP)

Behold:
The Feelefold States of America!
#TFFSA #AlternateHistory

Currently, the master spreadsheet for the project lists 316 states and at least 65 others left to do, and the timeline contains 519 events (border changes, state creations, etc)
Today I worked on the borders and consolidated the timeline of the states for the Northeast region (49 states):
#TFFSA
POV: you're working on the Canadian north
North region is done (well, except Faroe, Greenland, and Iceland but they don't have borders), that's 21 more states done #TFFSA #AlternateHistory
And that's another region checked: the Philippines! (18 states)
Midwest region done, 32 states in total #TFFSA
I might be currently sifting through hundreds of pages of the 1970 US census to fix borders for one single state
The things I'd do for my hyperfixations

I expected it to be the longest region to deal with and… guess it was ^^"
Over six hours of work and i'm still not done with the South region, but almost!

I still have to decide if I make Greer a state, what the state of New Afrika will look like (it will be in at least two non-connected pieces), and where I'll split Georgia
Feel free to give suggestions!

Finally done with the colors of macroparties and parties! (diagrams show rough popular vote, caucusing and unaffiliated other parties not included)
And here are the names of those parties!
And with this, I'm (practically) done with the continental regions!
I'm now considering replacing the CDP with a macroparty called “Christian Union” composed of the “Christian-Democratic Party” (center-right catholic, inspired by the swiss CVP) and “Evangelical-Social Party” (center-left protestant, inspired by the swiss EVP), is it realistic?
