As a disastrous summer for the industry's top brass bleeds into fall, it's become clear the AMPTP cannot win the strike. So they should end it now to cut their losses.
@scalzi I don’t think the studios even care anymore. They’re hellbent on never having to pay any human for anything production-related ever again and they think they can do it. They’ll destroy their entire industry to do it and won’t care at all.

@scalzi Judging from the commercials on CBS, the fall broadcast season is gonna be really dull, nothing but ‘reality’ shows, primetime game shows, and running cable/streaming shows from a few years ago.
