@roblosricos I remember when I went on a public tour of the #SeabrookNuclearPowerPlant (for publicity), and I asked the tour guide what was going to happen to the #RadioactiveWaste. He replied that I shouldn't worry about that, since a solution would be developed by the time that would be a problem. Yeaaaaah. Riiiiight. Even teenaged me knew a bunch of BS when I heard it.

every nuclear waste storage facility in the US keeps retired fuel rods in 55-gallon barrels, meant to last 30-50 years. i don't understand the lack of public outrage.
