@briannawu I don't think I'll ever not be frustrated that Joe was the nominee in 2020, but I'll be damned if the man hasn't managed to deliver in ways I didn't think he could.

@jovian34 @foxxtrot @briannawu Yeah, I keep thinking about how "knowing how to get things done politically" doesn't correlate all that well to “charismatic and willing to promise things that are unlikely to be achieved”, and sigh a bit.

@fade @jovian34 @briannawu Sure, but my problem with Biden was never that he didn't know how to get things done, it's that he'd spent decades getting things done that I think were bad.

So maybe instead of saying he's gotten things done I didn't think he *could*, it's more correct to say he's gotten things done I didn't think he *would*.
