I believe Politico privately considers "No Labels" to be a spoiler operation designed to put Trump back in the White House. But like other willfully blind journalism organizations, it treats the group as "centrist" with honest motivations.

It's likely that some supporters do honestly believe they're helping to improve politics. But they are the Jill Stein voters of 2024 and should be called out as such.

That sort of attitude doesn't make much sense to me. If one's standards of professionalism require omitting important information that one knows to be true, then they're the wrong standards.
