I'm starting to think I might me on #Autistic Spectrum. It's not realistic to get an actual diagnosis for me at the moment, but a lot of things point to it. And when I told my friend he said that he already thought about it, so it's not just how I feel but also how I behave. I heard that in autistic community a lot of adults are actually self-diagnosed, I wonder why and whether I should try to go for an actual diagnosis or is it ok to self-identify as neurodivergent without one.🤔 #MentalHealth

@DemoniacDeath You're totally singing my song. 😦

I don't think it would be responsible for me to presume to be qualified to "self-diagnose."

It's just that it's hard to ignore the mountain of signs. 😅

@DemoniacDeath I'm in the same position.

My girlfriend is on the spectrum, diagnosed as a kid. Out of the blue a few weeks back she says she thinks I might be.

I've taken a variety of online assessments over the years that stress that you shouldn't use it for diagnosis, but I score really highly on all of them.

I recently took one and you can score up to 240 points I think it was. No neurotypical person has ever scored above 64.

I scored 119.

It would explain a hell of a lot.
