I am Jack's Lost 404This fully supports my theory that fancy appliances for rich people fall apart more often and are just service schemes for people who won't notice and can afford it:
"Noting that Taylor purportedly makes 25 percent of its profits from service calls and charges $350 per 15 minutes of service [...]"
I find myself conflicted though because this is awesome but really only benefits a giant corporation; but maybe there will be other indirect benefits ie. public education because this is a much more tangible situation for the mass public than a John Deere tractor...
Maybe local repair shops will start to pop up again... let's not let Ronald McDonald be the only beneficiary here...
