Apparently this whole QR banking stuff is less than ideal (pun intended). Most Dutch banks (except the two biggest) support SEPA QR (EPC069-12) and the alternative to cover those two is the iDeal system (from which they directly benefit), except that's not supported by other banks (at the very least bunq).
