I walk pretty much everywhere in Oakland and I started noticing a weird trend where there were a LOT of free chairs on the sidewalks, so I started taking photos and compiling them into a series called “Chairs of Oakland.”
I have way more than 100 photos, but I tried to compile some of my favorites into a main grid and then made a little honorable mentions grid for the more questionable “chairs” of Oakland.

I once wanted to take pictures of graffiti in bathrooms while on tour in order to make a book.
Then I realized that meant taking pictures of bathrooms I already wanted to leave as quickly as possible.
@RobWeldon 😂 I totally get it! Most of these photos are hastily snapped as quickly as possible.
Bathroom graffiti would be a cool compilation, though!
There’s a place in Oakland called Eli’s Mile High Club that has some pretty solid graffiti all around their patio so it allows for a little more time to take photos.
