@netspooky @asonix I disagree with this post, but from a different perspective.
We shouldn't try to make piracy mainstream. That will just make studios and the industry clamp down HARD on it with additional legislation and enforcement and make it more difficult.
Piracy only continues because it's really niche. If your random non-techie started doing it en-masse, it would ruin it for everyone.
@netspooky This post is clearly wrong. Much to my chagrin they've pisspelled Netflix which is indicative of their immature and novice understanding of DMCA and copyright. As this meme is is in English it's is clearly in the jurisdiction of America, so DMCA clearly applies to users around the world. Mostly because America has nukes and invernted the internet an lawyers, but also because I want it to be true, so therefore it's the only reality I will acknowledge.
If it woren't for these imporntaint laws, the NFT's of DVD's would continue to depreciate in implied value due to CTRL-Crime. Stop breaking the law!
