Day 27 of #RomanceAwarenessMonth and today's post is dedicated to @lenoreo as she mentioned #CinnamonRoll MMCs in a recent reply. My fave Cinnamon Roll Hero is probably Martin in Olivia Dade's "Teach Me": he's been hurt in a previous relationship; he's a doting dad; he is sweet and gentle with the FMC Rose, until he becomes a dirty talking sexy lover (after seeking her consent for talking dirty, of course).
Please share your cinnamon roll recs!

@Diva007 @lenoreo @romancelandia @romancebooks That @OliviaWrites book was what motivated me to look up what a "cinnamon roll" was in the first place. Still not sure I can identify it without someone else pointing it out for me.
@notTheAudience Think of a cinnamon roll. Sweet, honey, soft, kind. The opposite of an alpha man.
@Heidiknits Sure, I understand the idea; it's identifying the characters when I'm reading them that's hard for me. (The "alphas" are easy: if I hate the hero halfway through the book, he's probably supposed to be an alpha. I do not understand why people like those characters.) Ren Bergman, probably? But is Matthias in "Codename Charming" a cinnamon roll, or is he too tough for that?

@notTheAudience @Heidiknits to tell you the truth, I'm not 100% on what a #cinnamonrollhero is either, but I'm thinking a subset of a #betahero...which is what I'm all about. I very rarely love an alpha in the same way.

I would 💯 say that Ren Bergman is a perfect example of a Cinnamon Roll! I haven't read the other book.

@notTheAudience @Heidiknits I do think they can be tough, or dirty in the bedroom, but on the whole they shine for being kind.
