#ClimateDiary very good and illuminating meeting with the #SantaCruz Sustainability and Climate Change Officer, learning about the challenges of #CoastalErosion and #SeaLevelRise at #WestCliffDrive - the #Infrastructure costs, the uncertainties, the different interest groups affected and involved - so much to balance here and for #LocalGovernments everywhere 1/2
2/2 #ClimateDiary There are so many parallels here with #SeaLevelRise challenges and management and olanning attempts back home in #Eastbourne and #PevenseyBay. I am hoping to do a small comparative collaborative study of these two locations plus two more, and perhaps help create links between different communities affected. One small way i hope of making up for the craziness of this trip
