I'd like to add that (thanks in part to funding from right wing US interests) this behaviour as a means of getting and holding power is exported around the world. It would be great if it could be stopped, and hopefully these legal actions will go some way to demonstrating that it's not a winning strategy. Of course, who knows what's then next?
