Going through more granny research and apparently she found out about the gaschambers in Germany while she was on a train in Sweden and someone showed her an article from "GHT" (Göteborgs Handels och Sjöfarts tidning) that had reports about it.
We don't know the dates this happened or what article it could've been. Which is a shame 😟
This did make me find out about Togny Segerstedt tho! Dude was super anti nazi when Sweden was anything but.
It's always sad to see a bunch of old buildings up north that either appear totally abandoned, or at the very least someone's not able to keep repairing them.
Lots of villages here that look empty.
