Once upon a time (Jan. 31/22), a famed pig named Mr Bumble (@TeamBumble) began a new wheek with a magnificent display of #TurboPantaloons, shouting “It’s a brand new wheeeeeeeeeeek” and posting the below video.
@ADailyViolet exclaimed, “So fast! We may have to make you an honorary bun!” Footage was submitted to Skye for review, who gave formal assent. And so he was inducted as an #HonoraryBun, part of the esteemed #OrderOfTheShortEars⚔️

The brave hearted Felix 🌈 then demonstrated his mastery of strength and agility.
Felix🌈 was laser focused on his prey, and took his balancing skills to a new level while demonstrating his elite t-Rex skills! 🥕🦖
The prey - a carrot and bun-favoured snac - in combination with skilled balancing on his #NonFloofyThumpers earned him a place at the #RoundSaladTable, and so he was inducted as an #HonoraryBun, as part of the #OrderOfTheShortEars. ⚔️

Not to be outdone, the dashing and hard working engineer (in the foreground!) of the (now retired) Felix & Oscar Railroad (F&O Railroad for short!) demonstrated his elite 🦖 skills on his #Thumperloons (bunny thumpers and piggy pantaloons merged!).
Now retired from conductor duties, Oscar @felixandoscar1 continues to live his best peeg life! ❤️

Following Oscar’s induction, a spirited little piggie named Hershey 🌈 astonished everyone with his spirited bunny hops incorporated into his #HersheyStroll. In this video Snowball @callietobysnowball makes a cameo!
Oscar nominated Hershey 🌈, and he was quickly inducted into the #OrderOfTheShortEars, taking his rightful place at the round (salad) table.
#FloofHistory Part 5
Shortly thereafter, Neville @Neville_dinah astounded the floof community with some of the most exuberant and speedy hops ever seen in the below video footage (I apologize for the video quality!😉). Dinah, his dancing partner, is also seen in this video.
After a quick review of the authenticity of the video, Neville was swiftly inducted into the #OrderOfTheShortEars as an #HonoraryBun.

Not to be outdone, and already demonstrating #BunEnergy with her swiftness in the last video, two more compelling videos were provided to the review board. The first included Dinah’s head twisties, which certainly resemble the head twist before a bunny binky!

In a second video, Dinah displayed the most exceptional grooming of her front feet, very bunlike indeed! (Neville rudely interrupts her mani in the below video 😂)
And so Dinah was inducted into the #OrderOfTheShortEars in a formal ceremony, and joined her rightful place at the round (salad) table.

A shocking event occurred a short time after Dinah’s induction. Barley @TuftyPiggies presented a #GoldenBearBum in a pose resembling a bun flop! His glazed eye and ample behind sealed the deal, and dear Barley was inducted into the #OrderOfTheShortEars in short order, joining his comrades proudly! ⚔️

Immediately after Barley’s induction, a prominent Monty Bum (Barley’s companion!) was presented for consideration as well. Following deeper examination of both height and spread, Monty’s behind was determined to have the ample roundness of a classic #BunnyButt.

For those new to floof legends, today’s brief history lesson may surprise and delight!
The next inductee was a floof, but not of the piggie variety! Princess Hari, aka Haricot Vert (Green Bean) was nominated for being a friend to many floofs, even a sugar glider! This kitty loves her fruits and salad- especially kale and spinach.
And so dear Hari (after an ear measurement to ensure her ears were short enough!) was inducted, and joined her pals at the round salad table.⚔️🛡️❤️

Our most recent #OrderOfTheShortEars Inductee was a dear fluffy headed piggie named Petal 🌈! @PetalthePeeg
Petal 🌈 was nominated posthumously by @TuftyPiggies, with a laundry list of amazing bun qualities! These included a floofy bottom, a bun-esque creativity, loafability, and - get this - even an ability to time travel through a portal! Petal was inducted into the #OrderOfTheShortEars, where floofy friends sit heart to heart at the round salad table. ⚔️❤️❤️❤️

Ohh thanks for asking! 💓We had a terrible smoke-filled few weeks ending after Labour Day. ..And yet there was no uproar. I guess being trapped inside on the last summer long weekend because of toxic air is the norm now! 🫠😮💨
Now they’re saying some of the fires will continue through the winter. 😵Thankfully our city is still quite safe, but the lack of clean air, blue skies and sun really gets you down sometimes.

Until Winter? Is there nothing they can do to get the fires under control? Or is it better long term for them to burn and clear out the underbrush to help against future fires? Or what is the thinking here?
@DAISYLittleOne1 Yeah! Today we have good air quality and blue sky and it is such a rare joy! Skye is out and has been enjoying the air, too. (Current pic below!)
They’re uncontrolled, unfortunately, and just raging! 😖 They’re talking about putting together a national firefighting force as the Canadian forces can’t be always tied up like this…!
