John MIllerWe went to a Lutheran church in the next town over yesterday. There was only one reading and it was from the apocrypha. The sermon was a good take, but lacked any Good News. They did at least have communion (with Christ's blood in little tiny shot glasses). No choir and music only 2 Sundays a month. I think if we go Lutheran (swim the Danube?) we'd be just fine going to the local church.
I'm really felling like it is time to just settle on a church so I can actually get to know people and get involved, but I promised my wife we would wait until the rector at the Episcopal Church in SLO got back from sabbatical and give them a second shot. So another month of Church Shopping for me.
