Some day, we'll have a conversation about aviation safety that doesn't mention the swiss cheese model or "all near misses must be eliminated". Still, a big step forward that they're mostly talking about the systemic issue and not just "human error"

Same here. From the cockpit. It never seemed to phase them, but some other pilots would go nuts over it. To drive the point home, every once in awhile, I'd check in to JFK with "Idlewild."

I didn't discriminate with vanity naming.
