My understanding of toxic positivity, for anyone interested: rather than trying to see a thing for what it really is, without judgement, you decide that it's alright, nothing needs to change, its already good enough. That stifles growth.
I suspect its difficult to be both self-examining and to have toxic positivity, unless your examining yourself to marvel at how perfect you are!
