AMD needs to market better man social media had me thinking this GPU would be artefacting like crazy and blue screening.

This thing runs AMAZING, windows actually sleeps the display with it, and the display engine is so much better when switching resolutions wtf.

if AMD marketed their cards better and they were actually decently priced this thing would fly

@beebles Actually, #AMD @gpuopen needs to get their shit together and actually care aboit #Drivers and #Firmware working well at launch.

Nobody is gonna dish out 4 digits for their unstable af shit at launch as people like @fuchsiii basically have no week gone by when this stuff doesn't have issues!

There's a reason #AMD once has a 6% market share in dedicaded #GPU's on #Linux to the point that there were more #Intel #HD4000 #iGPUs in the #SteamSurvey for #Linux than all AMD + #ATi cards!

@beebles @gpuopen @fuchsiii the only redeeming quality #AMD has is that #nvidia's drivers are far worse and their cards can't even do #MixedDPi & #Wayland...
@kkarhan @beebles @gpuopen @fuchsiii idk i've never had anywhere near as many issues with amd as I do with Intel and novideo
@beebles which AMD GPU did you get? I'm very impressed with my Vega 8 integrated with my 3750h, it's a great little chip with a nice balance of performance and low power consumption. Even if it's a bit on the old side these days.

@james I upgraded from a 3060ti to a Sapphire Pulse 7900xtx

Not the best price to performance but I can boot up a game and not worry about settings.

That being said, it is an amazing card, people knock AMD for raytracing but it's about equivalent to a 3090ti in that regard, very impressive

Pictures below are all 3440x1440:
- Cyberpunk RT Overdrive (20fps in path tracing, 66fps in RT Ultra, 100fps in non-rt ultra)
- Fortnite Epic + RT (60fps)
- TOTK (60fps, this one impressed me hugely)

@beebles Good choice! I thought about getting an AMD 6600M for a long long while, and then a 6750xt for another while. Eventually I took the plunge and got a 3070ti, but returned it and (with the ok from my wife) went all in on a 4090. Absolutely not the best value for money, but kicks ass in path tracing and ML workloads (the later being my internal justification for spending ridiculous money on a circuit board). If I just wanted gaming, I'd definitely have gone AMD.
Happy gaming :)
