dickhead, see O’Neill, Ryan

From the book Their Brilliant Careers: The Fantastic Lives of Sixteen Extraordinary Australian Writers by Ryan O’Neill.

I cannot find it, but there was a reference book with the entry:

"Sea water; see Water"

@blueorangeblue
Ha, yes, that’s a great one.

Sea water, see Water, sea

It did the rounds on here a while back. CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics by the looks of it, shared by @bradl (below if the link works).

@pc_bain The name of the book's author is what really makes this index entry Art! 😂
@KestrelSWard
There are reasons for it but saying much more is too spoilery! One of my favourite reads though – highly recommended.
@pc_bain @KestrelSWard requested from my library
@FedorakIndexing
Excellent. I think you’ll like it a lot, and best not to know much about it beforehand. I’ll get checking out that Newfie list too for my TBR pile/tower.
@pc_bain My 155-page PhD thesis contained an entry "birds, for the: 1-155".
@pc_bain Applies to Ryan O'Neal, too
