Marcel WeyersLately, I've seen a lot of publishers/developers using machine translation to localize their store descriptions and/or achievements. This is doing more harm than just leaving them in English! If I saw such a description, I would assume that the whole game looks like this and, therefore, not buy it. And it's particularly annoying for the game's translators, as players may assume they're responsible. Please don't do it. Thanks! 🙏
nin@marcelweyers you'd be surprised at the number of "real" translations which look and read like they took the original text and fed it to google translate. I've seen it in on more than one game I've worked on. Makes you wonder about all the other languages you don't understand.
