My next book is *The Internet Con: How to Seize the Means of Computation*: it's a #BigTech disassembly manual that explains how to disenshittify the web and bring back the old good internet. The hardcover comes from Verso on Sept 5, but the #audiobook comes from me - because Amazon refuses to sell my audio:

@pluralistic This looks awesome! My wife had a similar crummy experience with her first novel this year — Amazon seems to be super-slow-walking the Audible version if you also sell it on any of the other services (as described by various other authors and editors). 🙄 (Since it’s her first, Amazon was difficult to avoid — another unfortunate side-effect of their size…)
