Just a reminder that Trump was caught on tape instructing Georgia's Republican secretary of state “find” the exact number of votes needed to overturn Georgia's results.

This is not a man who was interested in finding “voter fraud.” He wanted to steal the election. Period.

Take the case of election fraud within the United Conservative Party, in Alberta, Canada. The evidence is strong that the original leader of the party committed fraud to become the leader. Those in the party don't care, even though they were the ones who were hoodwinked. Everybody else outside the party cares, because of the incredulous disregard for democracy within a political party. #abpoli

Conservatives are all the same.

@beforewisdom @rbreich Thanks. Probably a good idea to listen to it again. I hope the talking heads will refer their producers to tee up a variety of clips from the longer conversation. I liked the four minutes you shared from YouTube. Gives better context and the unfamiliarity breaks through.to grab one’s attention. Maybe could reach even a propaganda-fed cult follower.

@rbreich When the call was first reported, news outlets published the entire tape, which I listened to while doing chores—point being, you often don’t need to “make time” to be an informed citizen. I was appalled to actually hear trump strong-arming and mob-bossing for a hour! It was chilling! Yet the news outlets still only play that one, famous and now familiar except? Lazy? To condition us to not be shocked any longer? There’s so much else in there. Entire symphony vs one short motif.

@rbreich we need to conclude that the more pervasive danger among Trump’s cult aren’t those who refuse to accept reality but those who are totally aware of the truth and are completely good with overturning an election so that an illegitimate fascist can be president as long as it’s him. Democracy is a disposable inconvenience to them if it doesn’t work for their benefit.
