Was discussing the phases of the moon with someone and then I started thinking about it, but when the moon is half full or a quarter full and is a crescent shape, which way does it point? Or does it change? Or does it depend where on earth you are at that particular moment? These probably seem like very stupid and obvious questions to sighted people but I honestly don't know and am curious.
Also when sighted people look at the moon, can they see stuff? Like topographical features? I can see it sometimes, if it's full and there isn't any other light, but it basically looks like a streetlight. Just a kind of creamy white light in the sky.
@Pawpower Also, the side of the moon that shows to the earth doesn't change, so the design that people see due to light and shadow just shrinks and grows like how a page of braille would appear and disappear as you wave your hand over it. or something like that. I'm suffering from food coma
