I hope judges realize that leniency has no chance of working with Trump. He's shown that he is a habitual and compulsive criminal, so pardoning him or putting him on probation simply leaves him free to follow his compulsive bad and dangerous behavior.

@QasimRashid as the old white folks that make up the GOP shrink as a % of total population, the remaining ones will become more desperate to not solidify their current disproportional political power but to establish permanent minority rule. Trump just showed them that lying, cheating and violence are perfectly acceptable in achieving those goals. He should be in jail for live, but he'll be followed up by others who'll be equally bad but w/out the repulsive personality.
