Improvised History Auditions

Improvised History is back from our pandemic hiatus and looking to add to our cast in advance of our upcoming season! Details: Auditions are Tuesday, August 29th at 7pm at the Rozzie Square Theater in Roslindale. Auditions will consist of two person scenes and one to two montages, and should take no more than an hour and a half. Who we are looking for: We are seeking 4-5 experienced improvisers or actors who are comfortable with a long form character driven narrative and don’t always go for the quick joke. We're not looking for specific factual historical knowledge, but we are looking for the ability to play to the genre of the era being performed. Folks who can help us tell a more diverse range of stories are especially encouraged to audition. We welcome any age, race, religion, sexuality, gender identity, and performance background.
