A Nature survey reveals scientists’ reasons for leaving the social-media platform now known as X, and what they are doing to build and maintain a sense of community.

@BeneCal I think it says almost half have opened accounts elsewhere, and of those Mastodon is the most mentioned? Although LinkedIn is higher as regards accounts?
@Loukas @BeneCal Linkedin is a site where "everybody" is registered, but few actually "use", so having an account there doesn't really say anything?
@loke @Loukas @BeneCal LinkedIn is where they can be contacted to hire them. Typically only used by the unemployed and by HR people.
