At this pace, PhD students will be soon required to write a dozen of papers to get their PhD, instead of 2-4 of higher-value papers a few decades ago. Or maybe just skip papers completely and just submit "novel" abstracts. Nobody sincerely got time to read more than that, and to keep up most is soon generated by AI anyway 🤣 TikTok-ization of science.
