One of the recent changes on Twitter is that videos downloaded from Insta no longer upload. So I use a photo/film app (in my case, InShot), open the clip & save it again. It now uploads fine. It's also now 2.5x the size of the original clip. But hey, that's Elon's problem, not mine.

@TheBossRoss X??? Account still there (unused since I came here) just in case I need to ask e.g. a train company what's going on when a train has unaccountably stopped or been cancelled. The Twitter end came when Musk cancelled the API and Tweetbot died.

@TheBossRoss No, much simpler in my case. Tweetbot was a civilized interface with the bird site. Once that had been suffocated I was confronted in the Twitter app with ads and other junk. I looked at the downward trajectory and decided it was time to move. Decision was helped by a small number of my regular follows having already made the move. No implied criticism of anyone staying on the eX birdsite.
