I have inherited an extraordinary archive of sketches, drawings, watercolours, & oils by my great-grandfather Albert Proetel (born Prötel, in 🇩🇪). He moved around Europe painting & married in Switzerland, setting up a studio in Lausanne. Never famous, probably suffered economically from being German in🇨🇭.
