This media coverage is so wildly negative against the president that it's hard to tolerate.

On Thursday and Friday. Joe Biden sent his public condolences and concerns to Hawaii and signed a federal disaster declaration. He spent the weekend at Rehoboth Beach and reporters who stalked him while he was resting, bike riding and sitting on the beach for the weekend demanded another statement.

Joe Biden's Response to Maui Fire Death Toll Sparks Backlash

The president reportedly said "no comment" to questions about the number of deaths on the Hawaiian island, prompting outrage online.

Newsweek
He avoided them and did not make an off the cuff statement while they chased him on his bicycle or while he was trying to clean up his stuff to come in from the beach. (Neither of which the former guy can do and no one ever commented) This is being played out in the press as him "not caring."

Sure, he didn't care about the reporters stories and that's why they're mad but this hardly qualifies as a president who is inattentive to the country. Good lord! Joe isn't perfect but stop kicking him around for things that are a result of him being accessible to the press. I'm backlashing their backlash because this is nonsense.

@MJ The bias is unreal.

@MJ Joe Biden is an admirable & truly honorable President of the people, by the people, and - no less important - a President for the people.

Which distinguishes a popular servant from a populist conman.

Know the potential of your President.
