This media coverage is so wildly negative against the president that it's hard to tolerate.

On Thursday and Friday. Joe Biden sent his public condolences and concerns to Hawaii and signed a federal disaster declaration. He spent the weekend at Rehoboth Beach and reporters who stalked him while he was resting, bike riding and sitting on the beach for the weekend demanded another statement.

Joe Biden's Response to Maui Fire Death Toll Sparks Backlash

The president reportedly said "no comment" to questions about the number of deaths on the Hawaiian island, prompting outrage online.

Newsweek
He avoided them and did not make an off the cuff statement while they chased him on his bicycle or while he was trying to clean up his stuff to come in from the beach. (Neither of which the former guy can do and no one ever commented) This is being played out in the press as him "not caring."

Sure, he didn't care about the reporters stories and that's why they're mad but this hardly qualifies as a president who is inattentive to the country. Good lord! Joe isn't perfect but stop kicking him around for things that are a result of him being accessible to the press. I'm backlashing their backlash because this is nonsense.

@MJ The bias is unreal.

@MJ Joe Biden is an admirable & truly honorable President of the people, by the people, and - no less important - a President for the people.

Which distinguishes a popular servant from a populist conman.

Know the potential of your President.

@MJ Newsweek today is not the Newsweek we grew up with. Beware.

Newsweek and the Rise of the Zombie Magazine

How a decaying legacy magazine is being used to launder right-wing ideas and conspiracy theories.

@Barbramon1 Yeah, I know they’re junk. I never use them as a legit source anymore. I’m just complaining about this kind of nonsense coverage.
@MJ I hear you. Some people may not realize how far Newsweek has fallen. They are the most likely to believe this BS.
I wish that the media would have paid half as much attention to the former president's 500(!) visits to his various properties. It's estimated that he spent one third of his term away from the White House.
@MJ Agreed. I'd like to drop this in the complaint box, also.

It seems as though we have just as many of our own working against us, at times, and I have had it.
@MJ death by 1000 cuts. The media really wants trump because their sales have dropped from boredom under Biden

@MJ Journalism, that turned into masochism, manipulated & intimidated by a mobsterous bully formerly defiling presidential office & generally offending the free press as "fake news", in total disregard of the First Amendment.

Only one reason, why Trump being held accountable, convicted & sentenced is more than overdue.

To protect the United States from being turned into a Mafia state like Putin's.

@MJ Newsweek isn't a real journalistic outfit.
@MJ Mainstream media is owned by 6 Mega corporations who answer to tax breaks NOT the public interest.
