Lovely drive home! I noticed lots of terrible lighting practices on the way through Regina+suburbs that I'm now much more aware of, and then said a big "HELLO I LOVE YOU" to the Milky Way when I got out of my car under my beautiful dark skies that I appreciate even more after the #ALAN2023 conference.

(I also sent some quiet hate to a couple of satellites, but tried to focus on the beautiful Milky Way behind them)

In keeping with the topic: today they finally got around to fixing the streetlight right in front of my window which had been out since the last big storm. Arghhh.
Not looking forward to having it back, I did enjoy it very much, being without. Actually it's my theory that we could drop every second streetlight easy and it'd still be too bright.
