This is the last day of my Twitter account. I have over 52K followers there, but I can't remain on a platform that pays people like Andrew Tate to post. I do this knowing it significant limits my reach in the academic community, but the standard you walk past is the one you accept.

But then I know many people on it personally who refuse to leave it, despite knowing all the horrible things .

@takeitev @lisamelton I guess climate activists feel there are doing the hard work over there, but I do wonder if it's wasted energy. Seems it's just full of people spoiling for a fight
