This four year old oak sapling produced a solitary acorn this year.
I think this is the year I'll plant it out in the garden.
An update on this. We planted the acorn and hope to see another sapling in the Spring

Is it bonsaied? Looks like lots of small leaves, almost bushy...
I was given an oak in a pot a few years ago. I grew it on and planted it out in the back field. Then the council kept messing with wherever I planted it so I had to relocate it...must be the most well travelled oak tree around here!

@MostlyTato Wow!, if that little oak tree of yours only knew how you looked out for it.
Ours isn't a bonsai. I understand that's done by occasionaly removing them from the pot and trimming their roots. I might be wrong, only half heard about this on Gardner's Question Time.
It deserves a good location. I'm particulary fond of oak.
