@M0YNG @kf4hzu Yeah, I don't do discord. When there's a perfectly working IRC system, why bother? :)

On the other hand, I'm starting to give up on the duplex config, the timeout situation is annoying me (looks like a BM thing where duplex stations are treated as repeaters, hence the timeout) and I'm losing more than I gain from it.

(Also OpenGD77 automatic TS and TG detection in split mode stops working).

@M0KHR @M0YNG You guys let me know when IRC and XMPP add screen sharing. In the meantime maybe stop trying to use digital modes since you want to be stuck on 90s technology it seems.
@kf4hzu @M0YNG I do enough compute stuff at work and at home. Last thing I need is yet another security hole in my life.
@M0KHR Then turn off your hotspot. It is far more risk then Discord with the correct settings to reduce security risk. BTW Discord works perfect fine in a web browser. Your hotspot is a full Linux system that runs all the public-facing services as root. I have my hotspot on the same isolated VLAN/SSID as other IoT crap. Best not waive around security as your reasons when your not even considering all attack surfaces you have publicly discussed with "random internet people".

@kf4hzu Mate, I run Linux servers (and other UNIXs) for over decades for work, probably more than your life time.

Bye!

@M0KHR Running and understanding are very different things. You should never assume how old someone is. You will likely be wrong, as you are here, mate.
